HIGHLAND GAMES
Ceres Highland Games, the
oldest, free highland games in Scotland are held in Ceres on the last
Saturday in June. The games offer a mix of dancing, running, cycling
and heavy events. A fun day out for all ages !
ADVENTURE
The close by Teasses Estate offers
trout fishing and clay pigeon shooting. Novices are welcome and both
equipment and instruction are available.
FIFE FOLK MUSEUM
Ceres can also boast the
Fife Folk Museum. Open for 10 days at Easter and then from mid May to
mid September, 2-5pm daily, the museum has collections relating to rural
life in Fife over the past 300 years.
GRISELDA HILL POTTERY
Founded in the mid 1980's to revive the production in Fife of the world
famous Wemyss Ware. A visitor
centre at the pottery offers the chance to view painters and potters
at work and gives an insight into the history of this famous pottery.
